MUC-5B Targeting Services

Mucin 5B (MUC5B) is a protein encoded by the MUC-5B gene in humans and the MUC-5B gene in mice. It is one of five mucins that form gels. The mucin MUC-5B is present in whole saliva, normal lung mucus, and cervical mucus. In certain diseases, such as COPD, chronic sinusitis (CRS), and Helicobacter pylori-related gastric disease. All mucins are synthesized in known secretory cells, depending on the tissue in which they are located, such as goblet cells or mucin cells. Their creation, although not fully understood, begins with the endoplasmic reticulum. From there, the Golgi builds the O-linked glycans found in mucins. Finally, they are packaged into secretory granules. CD ComputaBio now offers professional MUC-5B targeting services to meet your research needs.

Our Services

  • Antibody Drug Discovery Service

CD ComputaBio offers a comprehensive range of computer-aided antibody drug discovery services to meet the specific needs of different clients. Antibodies are proteins that play a key role in recognizing various antigens in our immune system. Antibodies are increasingly used as diagnostic tools and therapeutic drugs. An important part of the antibody engineering process is the availability of high-quality three-dimensional structures. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Pathway and Network Analysis

CD ComputaBio will build a signaling pathway regulatory network for you based on the mutual regulatory relationship between the pathways involved in all differential genes, and study the signal transduction and regulation process between various signaling pathways from a systematic perspective. We can find the core pathways and regulatory mechanisms among the important signaling pathways affected by the experiments. Our pathway and network analysis workflow is as follows:

  • GSEA Analysis

We offer GSEA (Gene Set Enrichment Analysis) service, which is a computational method to determine whether a predefined set of genes can show significant concordant differences in two biological states. Conventional enrichment analysis firstly performs differential screening, and uses the screened genes (no matter how many) to perform functional enrichment. This method may miss some key information due to unreasonable screening parameters. No other analysis is required when using GSEA analysis. The advantage is that key information can be preserved without screening for differences and then finding those functional gene sets that are not very different but have consistent genetic differences.

Our Capabilities

CD ComputaBio has successfully supported several target servers. With deep scientific literacy and years of industry experience, our team brings an ever-increasing depth of expertise and a wealth of experience to our clients. We will complete your project on time and efficiently. We have professional after-sales service: to provide customers with efficient, fast and practical solutions. Relying on world-class technical expertise, we provide customers with the highest quality one-stop target analysis services, including the development of experimental procedures for different experimental needs.

Our QM/MM Simulation Service Targeting MUC-5B

CD ComputaBio provides hybrid quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM) simulation services. In the QM/MM approach, the regions of the system where chemical processes take place are treated at an appropriate level of quantum chemical theory, while the rest are described by molecular mechanics force fields. Modeling time can be greatly reduced by characterizing proteins and solvents using quantum chemistry representing ligands combined with molecular mechanics. Our bioinformaticians will provide you with the most efficient quantum chemistry services.
